Bat and Bar Mitzvahs

When a friend of mine's daughter was ready for her Bat Mitzvah, her mother asked if I would make her invitations, RVSP cards and the booklet with the readings and proceedings Sophie was going to follow during her service.
I said SURE! This led to many other Bar/Bat Mitzvah projects. For some I did the whole shabang - cards, invites, RSVP, booklet, thank you cards...others I just designed the invitations. It was fun creating a very personal invitation/program for each child.

Hannah Ratner's Bat Mitzvah invitations. This image doesn't give this invitation justice - It was on two layers, the top layer was a semi-transparent vellum with just the text, the flower image was on the bottom layer. The vellum was attached with silvery thread.

Ari Kohn, in Portland, wanted to use the images of the lion (Ari) and the hands of the Priest's Blessing on his Bar Mitzvah invitation, Saturday and Sunday meals and RSVP cards.

Daniel Blatt had his Bar Mitzvah in 2002. All they required from me was a booklet. This is the front and back of the cover (read back to front).

Diana, Daniel's sister celebrated her Bat Mitzvah in 2004. Again, all they wanted me to do was design a booklet and it's cover. This is the front and back (read from back to front).
